Galaxy^® LX NAS Family

Rorke Data’s Galaxy LX5 NAS is a scalable, feature rich NAS and iSCSI appliance in an all-in-one storage system. The NAS Family consists of 2 basic models, the Server Chassis and the Gateway. The Server Chassis models come in 3 basic chassis sizes, 8, 16, or 24 drive bays.  The Gateway is a head unit that uses SAS or Fibre attached Galaxy RAID storage.  With capacities up to 120TB, this low cost network appliance can be used as a typical NAS file server, an iSCSI host or target, or spinning disk archive.  It is easily integrated into any post or broadcast environment. Galaxy LX5 scales above the typical 16TB limits of other NAS systems and offers RAID 6 data protection with a simple to use administration GUI.
